Bung Bratak Heritage Centre Soft Launch

The Bung Bratak Heritage Centre will be having a soft launch today, on April 1 and will be open to the public in May.

The launch is cause for celebration, especially from the surrounding 36 Bidayuh villages in the Bau and Lundu districts.

The traditional roundhouse or ‘baruk’ shaped centre is surrounded by virgin jungles with two waterfalls nearby.

Once the heritage centre is open to the public, it will be a worthwhile tourist attraction, with historical and cultural exhibits on the movements and traditions of ancient Bidayuh communities.

Located off the 6th mile Bau-Lundu Road, via Kampung Tembawang Sauh in Bau, approximately an hour from the city centre.
