New Year Stop At Sarawak For Silver Spirit

KUCHING – The cruise ship Silver Spirit berthed on the morning of January 1, 2020 at the Senari Port, Kuching.

A total of 595 cruise passengers mainly from Australia and Europe were accorded with a Sarawak traditional cultural welcoming and garlanding, supported by Sarawak Tourism Board.

The passengers were offered shore excursions to some of the tourist attractions such as the Annah Rais Longhouse and Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, Sarawak River Cruise and also a trip to Sarawak Cultural Village, to experience the nature and the diverse culture of Sarawak.

The Silver Spirit is operated under the luxury cruise line Silver Sea, which operates to more than 900 destinations with 11 ultra-luxury cruises.

Sarawak is expected to receive a total of 15 cruise ships this year.
