Rainforest World Puppet Carnival 2019
KUCHING – The 3rd edition of the Rainforest World Puppet Carnival 2019 will be held on November 11 to 16 at the Auditorium, Old Courthouse, Kuching.
These six days event will showcase unique talents and performances by over 56 puppeteers from 17 countries including Korea, Albania, Brazil, Philippines, Indonesia, Bulgaria, Peru, India, Turkey, China, Romania, Australia, Vietnam, Russia, Argentina, Mexico and Malaysia.
Other than performances, there will also be a puppetry workshop where visitors are welcome to participate and learn more about puppetry conducted by international puppeteers.
The event is a joined collaboration between World Arts Convention together with Society for Arts and Handicraft Sarawak (SAHSA).
