As a part of the What About Kuching (WAK) month, a Borneo ‘Bengkel’ or workshop called ‘Hornbill and Elephant’ will take place on October 16 to 22 at HAUS in Jalan Capital Garden near the city centre.
This week-long event is participated by Sarawakian and Sabahan artists exploring their cultural identities through creative expression in an interactive workshops.
With anthropologists joining the event along with local artisans, musicians and performers, the event delves deep into Bornean heritage.
The Workshop includes design masterclasses, crafts bazaars, exhibitions and cultural performances.
