Royal Brunei Airlines Reinstates Kuching flight

The Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) will be reinstating its flight from Bandar Sri Begawan to Kuching on December 28, 2018.

RB Chief Executive Officer, Mr Karam Chand said “Kuching is one of the first destinations that RB flew to back in 1975 alongside Singapore, Kota Kinabalu and Hong Kong and we are very proud to be connecting this beautiful city to the rest of our network and providing the missing link to Brunei. We have significantly expanded our route network this year and the direct flights will allow the marketing of single and dual destinations packages in all the Cities we serve for the benefit of our tourism stakeholders in Brunei and Sarawak”.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank and welcome back RB to Kuching, said Sarawak Tourism Board’s Chief Executive Officer, Sharzede Datu Salleh Askor and adding that our industry partners have been looking forward to the reinstatement of the flight.

“It makes Kuching more accessible to our focus markets including Melbourne (Australia), Shanghai (China) London (United Kingdom) which augurs well for the marketing of the destination” she continued

RB will commence its first flight to Kuching on RB A320neo effective 28 December 2018 with twice weekly service and by 3 February 2019 the frequency will increase to four times weekly.
