KUCHING – Five AirAsia aircrafts are now displaying the Visit Sarawak’ Campaign’s advertisement panels on its overhead luggage compartments featuring enticing destination’s visuals including delicacies, festivals, nature and landmarks.
The aircrafts fly to the various cities in the region including in Malaysia, Thailand, Indo – China, Indonesia, China, India, Brunei, and Singapore.
This promotional initiative will give Sarawak greater brand visibility in the region targeting travellers. It serves to convey not only the promotional messages but a chance to showcase Sarawak iconic visuals and is one of the best platforms to boost destination visibility.
The revealing was officiated by Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Sarawak, witnessed by Datuk Haji Abdul Wahab Bin Aziz, Chairman of Sarawak Tourism Board, Sharzede Datu Haji Salleh Askor, STB’s Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Aziz Bakar, Director of AirAsia and Syed Anuar bin Syed Ahmad, Managing director of Laduni Services at the Kuching International Airport here on August 13.
